Thirteen against one..?

Welcome to the private academy, Adamson Prepatory school. It's a school for the intellectual youngsters of todays age. Among these students is a young child prodigy named Faye Elizabeth Redwood-Viva. Or just Faye to the tiny amount of Friends she actually had. Faye was exceptionally bright, excelling many of her own and older ages. However... this made her many enemies as we are about to see.

"C'mon Redwood." a blonde girl said quietly, her eyes narrowed into slits. "Aren't you going to fight back?"
Her twelve comrades jeered and made noises of encouragement.
"Coward" The girl sneered.
"The only Coward I see here is you." Faye said quietly, a small river of blood making it's way down the side of her face. "What bravery you have Jessica. You need thirteen people to beat up one 10 year old. You make me sick."
Jessica fumed.
"Well the feeling's mutual!" she snapped, slamming her fist into her opponents stomach.
Faye cringed and her hands slipped around her midsection and she fell to her knees, winded.
Jessica's friends laughed and cheered and made a circle around Faye, so even if she wanted to escape she couldn't.

Faye stood up, a bruise forming on her cheek where she had been punched earlier.
"What do you want me to do Jess?" she asked, monotonous.
"Fight back you dirty little coward" Jess hissed, annoyed.
"No."
"FIGHT BACK!"
"No."
Jessica screamed in frustration and punched Faye again in the face.
Faye saw stars for a moment and staggered back into a pair of strong arms. She looked up warily and saw a frowning boy looking down at her.
"Enough." He said quietly, his voice radiating power.
"A..Adam?" Jess stammered.
"Enough Jess." He sounded disgusted.

Amelia Roberts, who was at this school for her gifts in the arts, walked along the sidewalk surrounding the playground, scetching to herself as she looked up and saw Faye and the crowd.
Amelia's eyes narrowed, and she walked forward and pushed her way into the group of students just in time to here Adam speak.
"What tragedy is this?" she asked, disgusted. "That one so strong would choose to use her skills to cowardly bully the weaker. Making it so it takes one such as Adam, a Robin Hood in his own way, to stop the wretched evil of the horrendous beasts?" she asked, wrinkling her nose.

Amelia was book smart, but pathetically weak when it came down to it, too bad for bullies her father was a cop.
Amelia moved toward Faye, hesitantly touching her arm. "Poor thing, pecked at by the vilest of voltures."Amelia took a cloth from her satchel to wipe Faye's wounds clean, her naturally soft voice laced with sympathy.

"Get out of here you freak!" Jess shrieked. "Adam! What do you think you're doing!"
"It's over Jess." he said calmly. "We're over. I can't believed I didn't realize how much of a bitch you were. Now get out of here."
Adam Roberts. Most popular and most handsome guy in school. His mother is the headmistress so it's handy to have him on your side.
Adam puts his arms behind her back and under the crook in her legs and picked Faye up easily.
Faye let out a relived sigh and closed her eyes slowly.

Amelia's eyes narrowed, "those who insult kindness are only at rage for the lack of such in themselves." she said, turning back to Faye and following Adam. She looked concerned, "Is she alright?" Amelia's voice quivered, hating to see Faye hurt in such a way.

"She should be ok." Adam sighed. "If I'd of known they were doing this I would of intervened sooner. Of course Faye's a suffer in silence type. stubborn blonde."
"I heard that" said blonde muttered, a tiny smile on her face.
"How you feeling champ?" Adam asked, amused.
"Peachy." Faye replied, a trace of sarcasm in her voice.

Amelia laughed, "Stay strong, dear, for you are in the presance of friends." she smiled at Andrew. "Thank you for helping."

Adam shrugged. "No big deal."
"Oh gosh. Faye!" a pretty young girl cried. She ran over to the trio, two boys following her.
"Sadie. Wybie. Jeff" Adam greeted.
They glared at him warily.
"Hi guys.." Faye smiled at her 3 best friends.

Amelia smiled wryly. "Do not hold irritation with this one any longer, friends, for he has rescued this wounded girl in retrospect from the oger called Jessica." Amelia's eyes looked to Faye, once again filled with sympathy.

"Yeah Jess is an ogre alright." Sadie muttered.
Jeff chuckled and moved forward to look at Faye.
"You ok gorgeous?" he said, using his nickname for her.
"just peachy handsome... see i told you Adam was nice" Faye mumbled.

Amelia chuckled, smiling slightly though her eyes still looked over Faye sympithetically.
